This post reminded me that I need an ass whooping work out session to feel some of the achy-body-you-did-good endorphins! It has been a little while since I felt my workout the next morning. If I time it right I can swim in my friend’s heated pool the next day . . .

I remember the days when I would get double caramel marcchiato with whip – and count it as a coffee. I gave up coffee for Lent but once Easter is here I am looking forward to a butter coffee flavored decaf with sugar free white chocolate and almond – with skim milk.

The hurt is a GOOD hurt! It’s a “I worked really hard and deserved this” kinda hurt!

Isn’t it funny about those coffees–they have more calories than dessert!

Could you make me any hungrier with that post??? AUGH, everything looked so good! I want yummy cheesy stuffed phyllo AND a few (or ten) of those cookies!! I love going to coffee shops, especially when I can veg out, daydream, write lesson plans, or just btich in writing 😉 Even better is when I can add something like lemon poppy seed loaf, or a cheesecake tarte…damn, now I am even HUNGRIER!! 😉

Sorry Amanda! 🙂 I was so tempted to have one of the pastries or muffins with my coffee. One of these days I might splurge and do that. It was nice going to the coffee shop because there were less distractions there for me. I just wish I had a laptop to take with me. I think I’d get more done.

The KitchenAid changed my life last November and I was so lucky that I received a pink one for Christmas!! It is seriously one of the best gifts I’ve ever received… it makes baking so much easier and faster! I hope you’re feeling better soon!

We love it! So far we’ve only used it for pizza dough but I am looking forward to trying more things in it!

I just finished reading The New Rules of Weightlifting for women. This morning, just to test out some of the exercises I only did half of the first work out and I’m sore already! I am going to be hating life once I finally do the whole work out, but I really want to get some strength training into my workout. I’ll be starting the full training program next week.

Thanks for the tips, I am definitely going to be using some of these in the coming weeks.

Good for you! I’ve heard the book is interesting. I need to see if my library has it. Glad you’re giving it a try because weight lifting really helped me get out of my weight loss plateaus!
