That’s great Michael is losing weight! Good job to both of you for trying the diet.
I love that lateral raise machine, it always makes my shoulders good & sore!
Horrah for the good, pain-free run!

I never do the Lateral Raise because it was always sooo stinking hard! But yesterday I tried it and it was super easy! I must have strengthened my Deltoids in the last few months.

Wow! That’s a heck of a workout chickie! And I love that you splurged on yogurt and berries – isn’t it funny how our tastes change? Amazing job!

Thanks Kris! It was a good workout. And those strawberries were awesome!

    Woohoo, look at those guns!
I try hard not to have a cheat or binge day because it’s usually a trigger for a longer lapse in willpower. If I do have a binge day, it’s major overstuffing off all my old trigger foods, which obviously isn’t the best.

I don’t have a Binge or Cheat Day normally. Only on this diet and I won’t be on the diet much longer. I did it mostly to support Michael. After my weigh-in pre-Binge and seeing NO change on the scale, my enthusiasm for this diet isn’t really there. I like “my way”–just counting calories and eating healthy. I agree that binge days are a slippery slope, Emily.

I’m jealous of your arms! I have so much loose skin after losing 60 lbs and I’m pretty self conscious lifting my arms when I’m wearing a sleeveless top. I know I should do more upper body work, but I’m kinda lazy to do anything aside from running. You inspire me to get back in the gym and do some lifting.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Thank you CindyLu! After losing so much weight my arms were NOT a pretty sight. It’s taken pretty much my whole Winter focusing on weight lifting to get my arms the way they are now. I still have a long way to go but I am so happy with my progress. Give it a try! I was definitely a cardio junkie before too. I didn’t think ANYTHING was as good as running. Now I LOVE weight lifting.

  5. Mary @ Bites and Bliss

Good job with both of your improvements!! That extra 2 ounces must be from muscle since your measurements have gone down. Measurements mean more than pounds anyway so keep up the good work!! You look great!

Thanks Mary! I’m not too disturbed by the lack of progress on the scale. I was skeptical to begin with that I’d actually lose weight!
