I know what you mean. Sometimes I call the doctor’s office just so I can hear how ridiculous I sound! Seriously, yoga should help.

    1. Lisa Eirene

Ha! Glad I am not the only one.

During my break this morning I did about 15 minutes of yoga and stretching and feel much better. Might hit an actual yoga class tonight to try and cure it all.

How come you stopped eating cheese? All cheese?

I get phantom cravings once in awhile. I usually give in and have a few bites.

      1. jane Cartelli

I never have a few bites and stop. I have a few bits and then some more bites and then I am gone into a binge. It is okay because thank God I can accept it about myself today and not have the first bite.

Dairy fat was hard but sugar was harder.

        Jane~

        1. Lisa Eirene

Yep, sugar is the hardest for me too.

I don’t even have to be tapering to get those phantom pains! I can just THINK of an upcoming race and my foot hurts. You’re not alone. Good luck on your race!

    1. Lisa Eirene

THANK YOU for understanding. Michael doesn’t get it. He says if I get this stressed out I shouldn’t do races. Doesn’t get it!

For me it’s a fear wrapped up in a worry that I will gain weight back because of an injury, circumstance or something else. I completely understand! My hubby – not so much.

    1. Lisa Eirene

YES Diane! It’s what’s in my head too…especially now that I’ve been down that road before and was injured. While I didn’t gain weight, it’s still a fear. Michael doesn’t understand that either.

Phantom pains? I never considered that. Wonder how many of mine are phantoms. Being a practicing and professional hypochondriac this is a novel concept for me. πŸ™‚

The steak looks DELICIOUS. Imma get hubs to make that for me on Friday. πŸ™‚

I usually don’t have phantom pains until the week before a race. I get nervous, anxious and am convinced that I am injured and won’t be able to participate on race day.

Enjoy the steak! It’s a good one.

Awww! Hope those phantom pains vanish!!! And OMG….how cute is that kitty???? SOOOOOO cute!!!! I “aww-d” out loud. Have a great day Lisa.
